Maybe she was trying to see if you did mind her having a child and I guess although it happened during the second conversation...her bad....she found out now didn't she??
Oh....I was a single Mom and I think she handled herself exactly right. She got to talk with you first and then after deciding she perhaps was interested made the choice to tell you about her child during the second call...you decided to not call her again....Your choice but perhaps also your bad...you will never know now.

And the second phone conversation when you haven't even been on a first date yet is pretty early on.

You hadn't even been on a date yet. There are a lot of things that qualify as dealbreakers, but we don't expect the person to disclose them all right away. That's part of going through the process of getting to know someone. I myself could never see myself with someone who's deeply religious. But if I were just talking with a girl and we hadn't even been on a date yet, I wouldn't expect her to blurt out "Oh by the way, I'm a fundamentalist Christian." Your problem is you're lazy. Seriously, how hard would it have been to ask if she had kids?

What's the chance of that for TVandSportsGuy? Spanking the monkey while watching the Steelers is hardly a high risk activity. Neither is anything in the rest of his fantasy scenarios.
Its like they say about TV. "This is fantasy. Don't confuse it with reality."

If it was such a big deal to you, you should have brought up the subject of kids and if she had them. Why was that so hard?

This is sort of like when a woman finds out the guy lives with his Mom at home and he doesn't tell her until he brings her home lol! And then she drops him like a bad habbit.

Me either. I took my son to the park and a guy casually started a conversation with me saying "that boy's going to be a linebacker" or some other football thing. We chit chatted for awhile and then he asked me for my phone number.
Of course he could have been one of those guys I keep reading about that see a woman with a kid and automatically think Easy Access but I guess I'll never know
