Honestly, it could work if you two can relate to one another. For example, I could see a serious issue if you've been living out on your own for years and she's still living with her parents/dependent on them. You'd be in two very different chapters of your life.
Now, I'm 22/F and I choose to date men older than myself (late 20s) because honestly, I can relate much more with them. I find too many guys my age are players, are still depending on Mommy and Daddy, etc. while I'm living on my own with a pretty darn good career. I think the challenge that a lot of younger people face when trying to date older men/women is that they aren't taken seriously a lot of the time. People in their early 20s can be very mature but it's also very rare.
We have alot of things in common, and yes i dont look 32, i look like 25, shes really mature, and told me, "your only as old as you feel"
Noooooooo! Seriously bro, don't do it. I know that it prolly makes you feel good, but she's 20 and you're 32. You guys are not on the same level in any way, shape or form. Are you trying to say that you actually are on the same mental plane as a 20 year old or that this 20 yr old is as mentally mature as you are? People in their 20s are still trying to figure out who they are. She'll change a lot between ages 20 & 25 and 25 & 29.
Its good that you two have a lot in common but just keep her as a friend.

Exactly! And I hear that a lot. "You don't act like you're 34." Well, I'm a male, and by many definitions immature. Maybe we need to hang around younger ones so we fit in? lol If I pull some of my crap on a successful woman my age I'd look like a fool.
As a side note though...I have another female friend who is in her early 40's. She enjoys my way-out-there and sometimes blunt sense of humor. So maybe it's just something about women in their 30's! Which would explain why I have problems connecting with my 33 year old wife! lol

what do you think? is it too much of an age difference to work?
I think it will work until she is in her late 30's and he is 50 and looking\acting aged. Then she will divorce him and start over.
This is a generality but I've seen it happen often where the MUCH older person hits a different life phase and suddenly they don't have so much in common etc. and "grow apart".
This is why I wouldn't date gals <30 when I'm looking.
I "dated" a gal who was 17 years younger than me for awhile. The age difference worried me but not her. We went different directions (for another reason) and she ended up with another guy about my age. She just liked older men, which is exactly what she'd told me all along.
My wife is 10 years younger than I. This is her second marriage and my third. Her ex was also 10 years older than her. Again, she prefers older men. (She's now 53 and I'm 63. We've been together for 10 years.) Both of my previous wives were my age.
