all signs point to me relocating to austin, but it isnt certain. i know i will have to get used to the humidity with the heat if i do . i could do humidity or heat, but not really together. all my trips there have been in the end of may, august, and september and yeah the weather sucked and i wasnt outdoors as much as i would be during that time. i did go to barton springs though, town lake, and took aventage of eating outside in the evenings. i figure i would be doing the bulk of my outdorsy things from oct-early may. i think the weather was the biggest con for me in moving to austin.

weather is my biggest con too. I don't know how country Texas is though, but I'm not a full on country girl either, lol..though I do love country music!

by sd did you mean south dakota or san diego? when i thought about weather, i figured i would much rather have an insanely hot summer, than a super cold winter with tons of snow to shovel. i guess i prefer heat to real winters. someone told me i seemed like i would like chicago, but to me they have some of the worst weather.

the good thing is also i usually travel most of my summers anyway.

florida appears to be the only state where women show the slightest interest in me. the rest seem to be diligently waiting for george clooney to pop the question.

haha ohhh no, never ever would I move to South Dakota! I meant San Diego, hehe, but ya, I would so much rather deal with hot, humid weather over shoveling snow! so ya, send the texans to SD so I can find a nice, traditional man!

i remember talking to you both about it and gave him my 2 cents on san diego. im not trying to sound defensive here, but did i say something that seemed like i am ignoring you guys?

I think we may need to zero in a bit as far as geography is concerned on this thread. Instead of state, is should be city. For example, Austin and Dallas may be much better for dating than say San Antonio or Houston. Same as here in California. San Francisco and Los Angeles are far far superior to Riverside, Diamond Bar or Stockton when it comes to dating.

I must admit that Ive never lived anywhere else or spent any significant time anywhere else (other than vacation) but I have never had any problems in my life dating here in Los Angeles. Not a single problem at all. I may have met some crazy women, but I cant ever remember a time when I did not have a date or did not have someone to date. Very easy here.
