Sometimes this forums surprises me, I find myself occasionally thinking about someone's dilemma or seeing something that reminds me of someone on the board here. Does anybody else do this??
In some ways learning about people's lives without actually "seeing" them is kind of cool, as you don't get distracted by their "physicalness" if that is a word?? You have no choice but to "listen" to them.
Cool thought, Chow! Certain posts will sometimes stay with me for days - or if I can tell a certain someone is going thru a hard spell, I'll check their posts hoping they are better. One of them right now is clearly not & my heart truly goes out to that person.
I don't post on the food threads, but when I'm looking to rep someone, I might see some posts there...and always wonder if I'll see one of yours!
Whenever I see SeaOfGrass pop up, I think of Dances With Wolves & Kevin Costner...which then makes me think of a family member who has been
nik-named Broken Glass. We only let her have booze if it's in a plastic cup now!

LOL! Okay, that's it, that's Chow's new name! Either that or He With Clumsy Paw. He'll be rinsing out our glasses, shake the water off and -- CRASH!!! - right against the sink. Or go to pick one off the counter and he fails to fully grasp it and -- CRASH!!! - sends it flying across the room! I sweep up so much around here, I should be called Cinderella.

Poor Cinderella; even though she has her Prince Charming, she'll never be able to wear those glass slippers!
