You'll send me to the weather forum, if I tell you we ddidn't have a single 90 degree day, in July...........
We hope to take our boat out, for the first time, this weekend.
I just got off of the phone with my Dad, he was telling me he got heat stroke last weekend. He lives in Lake Havasu, it was 120 last weekend.
Of course it doesn't help that he was bar b queing and drinking beers and not drinking any water.
We're thinking about going to the beach. It's our "anniversary" this weekend.
Debating on having a nice meal out. Been staying at home a lot lately trying to save some moola.
In part of April, May,2002 Avi casino comped our stay there. We had just enjoyed the Laughlin Bike Run. Then temps got up to 120. Real HOT on the Colorado River.................

Thanks, Hawk! Your trip(s) sounds like a lot of fun.
I think I might start checking out info on Tahoe.
I've never been & always thought it would be fun to ski or boat during the day & play in the casinos at night.

Happy happy.
I went to the beach yesterday - a close friend was in town so she, I, her sister, and a mutual friend all hit the beach for a girls day in the sun. It was pretty hot, but there was a strong breeze to make it bearable. In fact, "breeze" isn't really the right term. The sand was blowing so hard at times, it actually stung - we had to cover our faces every time it kicked up. I feel like I came out even - got some sun but the the free dermabrasion took off a couple of layers.

When i lived in Monterey lustrums ago at 666 Casanova street, i had a 1966 Corvette Stingray 427. I Loved that car... Sometimes i would take a 4-5 hour run to Southshore Lake Tahoe for a few days. I knew of a shortcut on Grantline road on the outside of Stockton. Up in the mountains i very seldom used my brakes. I just downshifted & upshifted....
Usually i would drive around the lake & do a little exploring & fishin'. Back then the Ponderosa Ranch was still open. Years earlier my youngsters enjoyed seeing it Once........
I like to gamble especially Texas hold'em Poker & video poker....
Yep Sister Piper Tahoe is Lots of FUN. You have a Fantastic Time Now........................
