Well I would say whatever makes you feel comfortable But do not forget to not dye your hair a lot, it will damage it.

Not sure it will damage it - if it's done right. My hair is in excellent condition, and I have it dyed every 2 to 3 months. My hair has pretty much been every color you can imagine.

I'm going to be 45 in a few months. If it hasn't been damaged in all this time, it's not like;y to happen anytime soon. It's not as though I'm dying it myself - I spend thousands of dollars a year on my hair having it done by top level professionals.

Same here. In fact, when I've seen actresses go blonde, they're not as attractive to me as blondes.

Names? Susan Dey comes immediately to mind. The woman who played Kelly on Saved by the Bell is another. Another woman that looked better before she went blonde was on "That 70's Show" but she was a redhead before. And I think I've seen Alyssa Milano as a blonde too.

Jeep, do whatever you want to do. You'll be lovely and attractive to men no matter what color your hair is.

It's done!

I actually got it done last evening. I know, I'm a sneaky lil' booger. Her last client canceled on her and she fit me in on that canceled appointment. I bolted to it! Took no time at all - my hair SUCKED that color right up after the filler sat on my head for 20 minutes. *Slurrrrrrrp* - Big time.

(I would have posted last night about it but I got wrapped up in some convo's on IM.)

I LOVE IT. I LOVE IT. I LOVE IT.
I am SO happy with it! I did go as dark as the pic I posted originally in this thread. Major thumbs up!

Will take new pics and post this weekend!

Thank you to everyone who posted in this thread - you helped me get over that final hump to just do it! SO happy that I did!!!
