I actually got it done last evening. I know, I'm a sneaky lil' booger. Her last client canceled on her and she fit me in on that canceled appointment. I bolted to it! Took no time at all - my hair SUCKED that color right up after the filler sat on my head for 20 minutes. *Slurrrrrrrp* - Big time.

(I would have posted last night about it but I got wrapped up in some convo's on IM.)

I LOVE IT. I LOVE IT. I LOVE IT. I am SO happy with it! I did go as dark as the pic I posted originally in this thread. Major thumbs up!

Will take new pics and post this weekend!

Thank you to everyone who posted in this thread - you helped me get over that final hump to just do it! SO happy that I did!!!
Hurry woman! We want to see...

Glad you like it.

What hair color looks good has more to do with your overall coloring, IMO, than simply being blond or brunette. There's the issue of tones and depth of shade. If you pulled off both platinum & very dark brown, then you probably wear cool colors well.

FYI, when you go darker, especially with such a light shade underneath, your hair color will wash out and get progressively lighter. So it's not much less maintenance than going lighter. Less worry about roots, but major fading.
The good news is, when you go darker, you're only depositing color, so it's not lifting pigment and doing any damage.

As fast as hair grows out, believe me, the damage is minimal. MOST women do color their hair.

See? We ladies know what we're talking about! I voted for brunette, too.

Ha, I thought the pic would be here by now! Get going! Don't be lazy. You're no longer blonde after all...

Looked at you pics, stay blond, why? You have certain facial features that just look "right" as a blond, do some photo editing with diff hair colors to get the point.
