mbm..You should have gotten the job, since you were the most qualified...they retired my husband early from his position, because they wanted young good looking execs. He really couldn't do much about it either.

Flirting is merely a freaking complex - you are insecure & need the opposite sex to make you feel "worthy" - otherwise you wouldn't do it!
I don't know if it's cheating per se, just obvious low self esteem & frankly pretty pathetic. If you have low self esteem, read some books or see someone. Then you can act respectable/be respected.
