And what if you're thinking of visiting or moving there. Or what if your kids going to college there? People that try to say it's "their" forum just crack me up. Here we go back to the school yard again..."this is ma turf"

Nope. But I've posted my comments on say....insurance reform in state X and been told that it's none of business since I don't live in the state.

usually the bullies have "friends" on here that like them, so it validates their behavior.
i think bullies in general whether online or not are pathetic.

Some forums are more aggressive than others. Make sure you have all of your facts together before you go on the History forum or you'll be flogged like baby seal. Never mind the Political, Great Debates, and foaming at the mouth Sports forums...these forums are full of people who could get into an argument in an empty room. Don't let it get to you, the internet can bring out the best or the worst in people so you take the good with the bad. Every so often I get a wild hair up the wazoo and feel like messing with the hotheads just to picture them clacking away frantically at their keyboard with veins bulging in their necks telling me how clueless and misinformed I am. I especially get a kick out of the ones who read into your post and look for something to be offended about. I wonder how they get through life in the real world.

I see this a lot but not so much on the state forums though. I could be reading a thread thinking it's an interesting topic. I leave for a little while and come back hours later to find a locked thread with 20 pages of back and forth bickering between two or three posters. Some off topic posts are fine, heck I'm guilty of that myself, but some people take it to far. Sometimes I wish the OP would tell those folks to quick jacking the thread.

Right. And they usu. do have their cliques, posses, and crews backing them up and egging them on. Kinda like those two old guy muppets up in the balcony hatin'. Memories...

lol well, i dont think bullies pay off forum mods. as much as i love the internet, i cannot imagine people would pay to stay on a free forum just to continue being d***s!
