Ever Been Attracted To Someone You Normally Wouldn't Be?
Attraction is one of those funny things. You have no control over it. Some people you find attractive and others you don't. But what happens when you're attracted to someone you normally wouldn't find attractive? This happened to me recently. I was in line somewhere and saw this woman in the line next to me. She wasn't gorgeous. Very plain-looking actually. She didn't have a great body. It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't eye catching and her clothes didn't flatter her figure. They made her butt look flat. She was pale. She never smiled and everything about her said "I'm not friendly." If someone had described her like that to me and asked if I'd like to meet her, I'd say no. But for whatever reason, I couldn't take my eyes off of her and was even hoping I might get a chance to talk to her. It never happened. But I did walk away wondering why I found this person attractive.
Has this sort of thing ever happened to you where you met or saw someone who, on paper, you would never find attractive, but in person, you did?

I was preparing to interview a musician, and looking at her pictures and listening to her music, I was not overly impressed with her music or her looks (lol!). But we met at a nearby restaurant for lunch, and after sitting down and talking with her for about 20 minutes, I found myself really attracted to her, and I could not for the life of me explain why.

I'm attracted to people that most others would look past. I go for the underdog, probably because I'm the underdog looks-wise, and I know how it feels to be judged by that alone. I try to see all things in perspective, and with someone not thinking they're "God's gift to women", I can see humility, which I am definitely attracted to.

Until recently I've never really been attracted to blonds or redheads. In the past couple of years I've taken notice though, not sure why, but I don't think about it too much, I just enjoy the view.  |

There was nothing unappealing about her, she was plain, maybe even above average. But I wasn't thinking about whether I would be attracted to her or not. I was meeting her simply for business.
There was something quite beautiful about her personality though, and I guess it was something I just was not expecting to encounter. |
