Older white men and young asian women (husband, kids, sexy)

I have a neighbor up my street who I see out in his yard all the time. Very dedicated and disciplined to cutting the lawn and gardening. He's probably at least 60. And he's always with a young asian lady. Probably no older than 35. I'm assuming wife or gf because she's there everytime he's there. And the way they act towards each other, I dont think its an adopted daughter.

Whats the pyschology behind it? Esp if there's a really big age gap, like 25 years. What would an asian family think? Does it ever get to be weird?

I think it would get weird (regardless of race) if you're much older than her dad. Her dad being 50, and you're 62.

That might be a lot of it. Older white guys would date and marry any younger girl that would go out with them and it happens that there aren't so many Anna Nicole Smiths out there so they find those in cultures that are more accepting of May-December matches.

I would guess that the more Americanized - the US-born and raised ethnic Asian women are less inclined to marry older men.

It's normal in my opinion that military guys marry foreign women because they happen to be single, dating age and are more likely going to meet, date and fall in love with foreign women when they are stationed abroad. I've known a number of men who came home with German wives when they were stationed in Germany, and it's the same thing with those stationed in other places. That has less to do with stereotypes than just being in the right place at the right time.

Considering that Caucasians age so horribly, and Asians don't, a 45 year old white guy is going to look like he's dating much younger even if the woman is 43.

Why do you call it "ageism" if a younger man doesn't want to date a middle aged guy? Obviously YOU don't want to date a middle aged man, so why should anyone else who is younger?

I think that Asian culture's value experience and respect the wisdom of their elders. From what I have heard/read there is no stigma against marrying a much older person there. In fact, it is encouraged because in most cases an older person is, presumably, more financially stable.

All of the marriages I have known personally who fall into this category have been happy and long term. So it must work for the people involved.

I have a lot of 60+ white men chasing after me (I'm black). I find it pretty pathetic that now that they are old enough to not care about what society has to say, they find me good enough to date (and probably just shag, to be honest). nobody wants to be some old man's last ditch effort at checking off his fetish list on the way to the grave - unless of course she needs the money.
