I was raised to believe that some things are just best done in private.

For me, this includes all bathroom activites, including flossing, passing gas and clipping toenails. This goes for both males and females.

Perhaps I am just squeamish and a prude.

How funny. It's like saying you can't sneeze around someone. I mean, think about what comes out of you when you sneeze - germs for 60 feet or so! And even if you cover your nose, those germs are likely to spread. Gas is natural. Making a contest out of it - eh, not so funny - but it happens. I admit it, I laugh when someone tries to cover it up. lol.

True but, to be fair, sneezes don't smell like a dead skunk lol I'll take nose germs over that, any day.

My son lets these "silent" farts, that will be enough to knock your ass off the couch! He won`t say a word.....then your like,"OMG!!! Did you fart?" and you may hear a giggle.
