So I was chatting with my friend at lunch today and I started reminiscing on an old HS crush. I used to write in my journal about him, get nervous when I saw him, typical teenage girl fantasies. He was the younger brother of my older sister's friend. I used to run into him all the time and, well, I was always too shy to really say anything to him, other than hello. I think he got a kick (and a smile) out of my awkwardness around him. How awful!! Anywho, YEARS later, today talking with my friend reminded me of him and I was curious about where he was or what he was doing. SO, instead of packing for my labor day weekend trip in less than two days, I started searching for him online but I couldn't remember his last name. I ended up finding him on classmates.com and EUREKA it had a picture (not sure how recent the picture is). I was able to satisfy my curiosity (there is a very cute baby in the pic with him, I can assume that is his son). I just can't believe how stalkerish I was in wanting to find him. At least the internet has satisifed my curiosity, I certainly don't want to "re-connect" with him, I'm more nosey than anything. But man, going down memory lane just brought back all those old memories that brought a smile to my face. The innocence, the excitement, the nervousness, it was so darn cute!!... BTW, my friends have all decided that I am officially a nutjob. I told them, at least I'm secure enough in my madness to admit it.

Back in high school I would follow girls in my car, say really stupid things to them, get their phone numbers out of the phonebook or from one of their friends then call them at random hours to talk about whatever. I was also into drugs/alcohol heavily at that stage of my life. I was probably intimidating and or came off as strange.

Blue, I don't think that is cyber-stalking. Just quenching a passing curiosity which I believe we all have done at some point or another. If it becomes routine, as in "watching" and "keeping track," - I consider that stalking.

That was ten years ago; I'm quite different now. I dont use substances anymore other than caffeine and I exercise/eat healthy. I'm still single though so perhaps I do still have some type of "I'm going to kill you" aura about me.

I would be able to handle the stalking myself - but the tightie-whities?
