I'd say in general, most people do watch a little TV, bu it's a boring topic of conversation to have with someone you're trying to get to know. If I was talking to a guy who told me that everyday his TV was on as soon as he walked in the door until the minute he went to bed, I'd be moving along.

How could anyone be unfamiliar with him? He just creates so many opportunities for humor.

I wil start asking more interesting questions like

What do you like to do after midnight?

Do you like receiving passion marks on your buttcheeks?

Where do you like to be kissed?

Have you had sex in public?

What is the freakiest thing you done in the last 5 years?

With each passing post and thread about human interaction TVSG reinforces that small talk about anything except his own interests, or any small talk about anything, is not his forte'.

If you think those questions are more interesting than those you've already posted, then just go for it, Grasshopper.

I could answer all those right now without even giving them more than a glancing thought:

1. Sleep
2. Passionmarks? Are those the things you get when you're a kid and you sort of suck on flesh to make a red raised mark? I think they're also referred to as "hickies" or something like that but they're things that are generally reserved for very young kids just getting into their sexuality - so it figures that it would be on your list.
3. Depends on who's kissing me.
4. How do you define "public?" In a public place, in front of an audience? More specifics needed in order to respond.
5. In what respect? What is freaky to someone is perfectly normal to someone else so please be more specific and why only in the last 5 years? What's up with one year or two years, three or four, let alone 10 or 20?

I love TV. I watch British Comedy, Old Movies and Action flicks. Can't get into the sitcoms..I don't want to be glued to the boob tube.

How about: "What kind of hobbies do you have? What do you like to do for fun?"

Don't you have fun?

"What haven't you done for years that you really enjoyed?"

It could be...running through the sprinklers. It could be playing on a swing set. If you can have FUN with someone that you're with (or, at least, if THEY are having fun), it brings a whole new dimension to the relationship.

I suppose that TVSG needs to know what tv shows a potential s/o likes to watch, just to make sure that her tastes don't interfere with what he needs to watch on tv. Imagine if his Monday night football schedule clashed with her needing to watch House MD episodes.
