What would you do if you found yourself single again? (dating, married)

This question is directed at married/attached people mostly. Let's say you found yourself single through no fault of your own, ie. your significant other leaves you, or maybe passes away, what would you do?
Someone I know asked me this the other day & it got me thinking. As bad as the single dating scene seems to be now, I think I'd just stay single & not even bother to date or to look for anyone. I have my family, friends, and a dog to keep me company, so I think I'd be just fine.
I've been attached, and I've been single. Currently, I'm single.
But I've always done the same thing. Nothing special...not really expending energy on hunting a new relationship. If it came along, that was fine. If it didn't, it didn't. One time, I stayed single for about seven years...back in my twenties.
I prefer being attached, but it's not completely necessary.
I dunno...I say I'd just quit the whole scene, because it's tiresome and there aren't many 'quality' people out there. But who knows what I would really do...?

Celibacy, girls night out and retail therapy. I'm doing pretty well I haven't been out in the dating scene so I wouldn't really know how it is... i'm quite content with hookups to be honest.

As long as I have one good hand and access to poorn, I'll be fine.
Hmmm... tough call. When I was single last time I had a lot of fun dating, met a lot of nice people, made some of them friends, etc..
These days IF I found myself single again, I'd have to stay single for awhile - maybe do some things by myself, travel, etc... Just be with me.
Oh boy, Zoom. Who DOESN'T want to get hookups? I've got plenty of single lady friends I can send your way.
