It would be something that I would spend some time seriously considering.

If it was someone who I just met, I would date them, but I would keep my distance as far as "relations" goes. I'm not going to judge someone on their past, but at the same time, I'm not going to put myself at risk if I barely know the person.

I think, in this case, I would wait until marriage before I had any kind of sexual relations with her. After all, there is more to relationships then sex..

Fatal or not, why risk it at all? Even if it doesn't kill you, you may still end up the "the gift that keeps on giving".

I agree, but I also think it would matter what STD exactly it was. Some STD's are so insignificant people will never know they are infected. Others will follow you for the rest of your life. Some will require a lifetime treatment while others with take a single pill.

The OP's question is way too broad.

I would say no just because if you got it and broke up at some point and found a another person to date you would have to let then know that younow have an STD an they would be in the same situation deciding if it worth it.

This subject gets so old We've had more than a handful of threads on this subject - try looking at this one for more info

Herpes or Gential Warts?????

FYI - you've probably ALREADY dated someone with herpes and not even known it This is a very common virus and certainly not worth letting someone go who might overwise be a great catch for you.
