I'm glad someone brought this up!
(I'll include work places.)

Don't think I've ever met an Ed/Eddie that wasn't nice to be around. Not so much attraction, just nice guys.

Same with Jims/Jimmies. But when guys go by James, they tend to be stuck up or real aloof. (I've known 3 "James")

Now I've been running into Dougs (3) just these past two years that were just outright weird -- and even hostile. Don't know why. It's always been the case with Jills for some reason. I've known 6 Jills in workplaces and they were all really unfriendly, one was bi-polar. Yet the Sues, Kathys, Wendys, etc. are pleasant.

Mikes are usually cool/friendly.

I've yet to meet a Stephanie who didn't have darker hair, or who had short hair. (I'm 40.)

lol There is still a radio dj late at night whom plays romance songs or uplifting songs.

I've always like names ending with the letter "y".

Judy
Cindy
Lindsey
Sydney
Lucy
Stacy
Sandy
Amy
Natalie (no 'y' on the end but that includes Natalie Portman and I dig Natalie Portman so Natalie always gets an automatic pass )

etc.

Guys names I have no opinion. Well, except for Burt. Too close to burp.

The Debbies and Dianes I've known were just really stuck-up.

I'm not from Florida nor did I grow up here. Only been here 22 months. Nothing to do with location. After all, you do not like the D's in your location either, correct?

I'm not a Debbie or Diane. I'm lucking out so far! WHEW!

I'm going to feed you to that guy who called me Susan.

One name I find funny when I hear it being called, is - Shanaynay (sp?). It's the way 'nay nay' is said. Always makes me smirk. The name Dick makes me smirk too.

I know back in New York there was a DJ named Alison Steele - "The Night Bird".

Her voice gave me wet dreams.
