The sites determine your matches, oftentimes. It would be different if she herself chose to send you a message expressing interest. I couldn't possibly date someone from work myself. If/when the relationship sours, it affects the job, and someone has to leave...and I tend to not want to leave.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought eharmony doesn't let you compose your own message to the other person. You can only pick from the choices they give you. If that's the case, then just pick 'Other'. Even if they figure out it's you, it's best not to acknowledge and hope they understand why you closed the match. Until the person says something to you about it, don't make it an issue if it doesn't have to be.
