Falling in Love.
Is it possible to fall in love with someone you've never dated? And I do mean In Love, not just infatuation (if there is even a difference).
Maybe it's someone you work with daily or someone you are friends with; Someone you have known for a while, not just someone you met.
Does (in) love require physical intimacy?

Sure, it's possible. No, it doesn't require physical intimacy. Our brain is the biggest sex organ of all.

You bet it's possible. There are different kinds of love. And I'd venture to say that in a lot of cases, physical intimacy actually can be devoid of love and based on physical need and lust, instead.

Yes it is. And is likely a strong bond that would be hard to break.

There are many different kinds of love. Most people love their kids or pets, but they don't sleep with them. Most people anyhow. Love is a form of emotional bond...that's all.

Yup, that is what happened with my husband and I. We were best friends for over a year, and then it just hit me. I loved him.

Yes. That's how it happened to me the first time. She was part of a group that I hung out with.
I got to know her and like her,and one morning I woke up and realized I was in love with her.

I lean to it being just infatuation because how else will you get to know the other except by interaction away from work and a certain amount of time together?
In the workplace, we see one side of someone and people in the workplace will often present only a professional side of themselves.

Infatuation, I would think, would be more of a physical attraction.
"Why do you like HIM?"
"Because he's hot."
as opposed to:
"Why do you like HIM?"
"Because he's got a great personality, and I respect the way he treats other people."
or "...he seems like a hard worker, and shows devotion to something outside himself."
