What do you think about this study: Yearbook Photo Smiles Predict Marriage Success : Discovery News
"Simply put: from a snapshot in time, one can predict whether a person will divorce later in life," lead investigator Matthew Hertenstein told Discovery News." "Averaged across the two experiments, he said "the top 10 percent of smilers had a divorce rate of about one in 20, whereas if you were a bottom 10 percent smiler, your chance of divorce was five times more likely!"
I believe there is some truth to the study, mind you, a lot of things can change over time. Regardless, I don't like to smile; especially for pictures; I think is weird. Why do people go out there way to look pleasant even if it's FAKE? Why not capture the REAL moment? That's why I like OLD photographs (late 1800's); people don't smile much and they look mean. I like mean people. (lol)

I feel both are nice smile or not. I took a photography class and cameo is the best.

The camera was invented in 1837.... might wanna edit
Actually... I thought the reason they didn't smile in those old photos was because of the slow shutter speed... Or they're mean.
This is why folks on early photographs did not smile. Having a portrait taken was a grueling task and a session could easily take hours since the shutter speeds were incredibly slow...I would not be happy either
Had to look up cameo but I still dont understand what it means. In my mind, i'm thinking a bust of a person.
It's not a cami-lol...its a work of art captured in the moment with out the person who is being photographed knowing. A moment in time.
