As you get older, you start to find other qualities more attractive than just appearance....at least I do.
As I do too. We are creatures that were made this way since the beginning of time....find a attractive healthy mate. It's the animal side. But since we are also smart other factors are added into the lot also. Healthy...non-smoker....job...nice to his family...hard worker...smarts...kind...loving...funny...ect.
I dont know what this has to do with my post this is something im pondering that has nothing to do with my current state...
And who said i want a shallow girl?? The bottom line is all men or women have to be somewhat physically atracted to you to have a chance so i guess were all shallow in that case
Different people are attracted to different folks. My whole family couldn't believe that I dated an Asian man. But I was attracted to him. And he was very kind.
My wife gets comments like this. I'm generally considered to be less attractive than she is, but she brushes it off b/c who I am is more important to her than looks.
I watched the David letterman show the other day and He was kinda making fun of the computer tech guy...and asked if that got him the ladies...he was very dorky looking...but he got back at David...because he did have a wife! She was there in the audience. See you just never know!

I've heard this often, usually by people that I consider shallow. (You know club going d-bag guy). I'm quite average in the looks department, and have dated some women considered very attractive. Don't underestimate personality, money or sometimes the neanderthal effect (One gal was interested after she saw me in a hockey fight).
That's worked on me before. I was out at a large event with friends and a fight broke out. It didn't involve anyone I knew, but we happened to be caught up in the rush of onlookers. Some guy actually had the nerve to push me as I was trying to get away from the crush of people and I fell. This guy that was a taller Jack Black look alike helped me up and then knocked the guy out. While I am not a proponent of violence in any way, it really got me. Knowing a man will protect me and defend me - swoon . And Jack Black is sooo not my type.

In life you just never know....I watched "Knocked Up" today a rather funny movie. The girl was the pretty blonde from Grey's Antomey -I know spelled wrong-anyways..and the guy was kinda a dush-bag/though kind hearted in a way...but yet she was attracted to him.
