I talked to her last night and explained that since it was expected to rain this evening we should reschedule because NASTY WEATHER is not good for a first meeting. Now if we already knew each other I would go but I like that first meeting to be on a nice day or night?
Anyone agree? I just don't feel like holding umbrella in the pouring rain on a first meet. First Meets should be on nice evenings always. So the girl agreed with me and will go out next week.
Rain might be utilized to your advantage. You might be able to see how this lady reacts when faced with rain. Would she be high maintenance? Would she be okay with it? Would she splash puddles?
Also, by using only 1 umbrella, it allows for some close contact
I understand the closeness part but for the beginning I like a beautiful evening so I can
sit outside and eat
sit in the park and talk
walk and talk at waterfront
look at the romantic atmoshphere at night.
Please don't take offense, but you just sound like a really cheap date. What are you sitting outside and eating? A box of Cheez-Its?
No, he meant as in sitting outside of a restaurant and dining, with a view. Like the Cheesecake Factory.
I wouldn't be okay sharing my Cheez-Its with a girl, I just met though. For the record
I suppose he wants it to be memorable and romantic without bad weather ruining his envisioning of the perfect date.
