That sounds like someone who may have been sheltered most of their lives; either by domineering parents or institutionalized.

I would't find it funny, I'd find it disturbing and upsetting...

Then again, me personally anyone who doesnt drink and hasnt traveled outside of their city (unless they are in New York or someplace equal) is pretty disturbing and boring to me too.

LOL, my ex used to work at a govt office with the most boring man in the world. He was handsome--in fact he looked like a Ken doll, but he had absolutely nothing upstairs. My ex would try to draw him out sometimes, like try to talk about movies or something, but the man disliked movies. He didn't care about music, sports, TV shows, books, or just about anything else that people like. He could care less about food--he always had the exact same thing for lunch every day--a bologna sandwich and a red delicious apple. One day in exasperation my ex said, "What do you like to do?" The man's reply? "I like to mow the lawn." My ex gave up on him after that and didn't even try to talk to him. The man was married too--I can't even imagine. We always had a good laugh over him.
