Chow said he heard it takes about four days to set up their stage. It's like a huge spaceship perched over the stage.

My mom saw on the news that about 800 people were turned away because they had bogus tickets, and some of them were from Ticketmaster! That's where we bought ours! They scan bar codes on the tickets, and I guess some of them were duplicates. Can you imagine showing up and this happening? So I don't know what's going to happen there...

Yes, everyone was really "on the same page" (I hate that saying ). At certain times Bono would just end up holding out the mic and the entire stadium would be singing the song. It was incredible. Especially on "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For." And then both bands at one point took down the lights, and had everyone hold up their lighted cell phones. It looked like a million fireflies. Not to get too sappy, but it was breathtaking.

Okay, we'll try to shut up about it now.
Nothing wrong with having such a great time you want to talk about it (I'm tired of hearing about bad times from people, honestly)!

We saw on the news this morning about those fake tickets, and I'd hoped that hadn't happened to the pair of you.

Good times!

Is he allowed to eat popsicles? Maybe he doesn't feel like eating anything.

This is crazy. I am sure you're worn to a frazzle. I would be.

Haha. I initially wanted to see the movie because of its location in the Greek islands. Chow abhors musicals, and I'm not really into them either, but I cajoled him into watching it with me. He refused to sit through all of it. (I couldn't really blame him.) I watched the rest of it by myself while he was at work, and I didn't really like it. Also, I didn't recognize a lot of the songs. I can get into some Abba songs, heh-heh, but these weren't them. I also like Meryl Streep, and she was good, but overall... I wanted to like it...

What about you, cricket? Did you see/like it?

LOL! It's the first Blu-Ray DVD I've purchased. Now I want to get the Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense.

I didn't recognize some of the songs either, and wasn't a big ABBA fan at all, but I liked the happiness and the colorful island backdrops...I guess I liked the sappy sentimental stuff. I liked the bachelorette party when the boys crash the party.

But otherwise, I'm with you. I don't care much for musicals.
