I think alot also depends on the level of intimacy outside of the bedroom. When DH is very loving and caring, we have it daily!!! But when he isn't we have it 3 times a week. So it really depends

But as much as I like sex & have had it more than once in a day on occasion, I think that's kinda weird past say your 30's to have it more than maybe twice a week. I mean, between work, "chores", sleep, other stuff - who the hell has the time???!!! Now if you didn't work...

OK, I voted and I was going to refrain from adding anything but it is just getting to good. My hubbie and me make love about every 8-10 days. Would we both like more??? Hell yeah. However, between the kids, finances and stress we just dont get there.
Sometimes we just look at eachother with that special spark in the eye but we both know naw...wee cant bring ourselves to it because other stuff.
Im thinking when the kids move out boy will we be at it!!! When we first married (7 years ago) we couldnt keep our hands off each other. We still have the flirty, sexuall encounters as we pass each other in a room but we dont follow through once we are in the room. Maybe too tired.

That's pretty much the way it is around here; Pixie Dust. We sure love each other and have plenty of ways to show it outside of the bedroom, but the REST of life keeps getting in the way... Even with only a kitty cat at home, we still have to work at finding a time when BOTH of us have time/energy/frame of mind and other things in "alignment". But at my age, quality sure is more important than quantity...
