Who made this up anyways?

I have heard this over and over by my nephew.

We played basketball together and he kept saying that phrase.

Don't get me wrong. I am the funy guy here. I got him back.

He said to me, "Why are you taking so long to shoot?"

I said.... "That's what she said.

Here you go - origin and it's a Holiday, but I remember it further back than is cited here

Newsvine - International 'That's What She Said' Day

Just type in "That's what she said origins" in your browser and there is a whole load of websites devoted to this including one with every instance it was used on The Office for you fans of the show.

My most classic "TWSS" moment:

My friend and I were in the middle of a 3-day road trip from Phoenix to Houston and back. We were stopped in El Paso for lunch, and my friend orders a Dr. Pepper. He took a swig, sat back, and happily proclamed, "You gotta love that burn!", referring to, of course, the carbonation burn

It took him about 3 seconds to realize what he had said, at which point we both bust up laughing uncontrollably. I will always remember that moment. A better TWSS has never come about since.

I've heard it around...I've seen it used on The Office and Corner Gas.

Timed correctly it is a great joke.
