When you no longer care about "it"

Movin', when I am under a ton of stress (be it work or what not), my drive nearly flatlines. When I am single (and I will only be intimate with someone that I am in a committed relationship w/), my drive has more downs than ups. I mean, seriously, can only be excited to see BOB soooo many times before you finally look at it and say, "Oh. You. Again." After a while, even just the mere sight of BOB is enough to kill your sex drive. You slump sounds normal to me.

I think their is an approach/avoidance conflict and depending on your experience and personality the latter may dominate. I just recall a Sam Kinison skit when I think about my marriage.
