For research purposes: Ladies, how much would you charge? (wife, women, sex)

I am not sure I set this poll up correctly, so please forgive me if I have not.

I am involved in a discussion over on Great Debates about prostitution. A few posters seem to believe that, if prostitutes were legal and widely available, the cost would not be high. Some people may feel that prostitutes charge such high rates because it is illegal and therefore risky--eliminate the risk, and the cost would go down. Also, some people may believe that many people would become prostitutes if it were legal, and the growing supply would cause prostitutes to lower their prices to remain competitive. I don't believe either of these would occur, not to the extent of dramatically affecting prices.

I decided to do some informal research and post a poll over here. Ladies (we're generally talking about female prostitutes over there--sorry, fellas), if prostitution were legal, would you consider it as a job opportunity? If so, how much would you charge?

I think that my cost would be awfully high, but I guess I wouldn't have such a high market value so I would be a failure

Oh, I know some are relatively inexpensive. I just believe that the ones who charge more will probably continue to do so. They're in it for the money, not because they aspire to be prostitutes.

Ha! I don't know if you are being sly or not, but I did participate in that debate and agreed with the topless women. I think I was cantankerous that day.

I cannot imagine ever being in that situation, but I suppose if I were, it would be at least $2000 per half hour. I am, after all, quite fabulous
