No. It just makes one really, really dull.
Life is a banquet. And devoting to a life of television watching is the act of starving oneself to death.

Right, not everyone is looking for the banquet, thats okay.
What bothers me, he feels like he has to justify it, when he doesn't.

Yeah he just went nuts with the dating scene...it does it to you...he just needs to stay away from it for awhile...or it will eat at him...he needs to get back to reality. Then he will be fine.

See, I'd say the opposite. Hey, no denying that you occasionally need to veg out in front of the tube. But it's something you do occasionally.
For example, I'm watching the LSU/Alabama game right now. But if you sit down in front of the idiot box every cotton-picking night, then you are living an empty existence. I mean, there are books to read, things to learn, friends to make, you name it. Sitting down and watching just whatever deprives you of the richness of life.

C'mon now, this is the guy that turned down a World series date because the woman was not rooting for "his" team. And was mad because the woman's cell phone dropped the signal and he was going to be rude the next time he talked to her.
TVSG, maybe once again it's that small talk thing you aren't real good at. And another newsflash for you-I'venever had a job, except during carrier operations, where 100% of the talk was work related, and I would imagine the rest of the folks on here would have the same experience.
