I have to say that I think white women get the raw end of the deal. White culture seems to only accept one kind of body and there is just so much pressure to conform to it. I wish all cultures were more admiring of a wide range of body types like Latino and African American cultures seem to be. I am a size 6 white woman and many guys my age would consider me to be too large or the slightly unflattering title of "average". It's not that I rely on male approval for self-esteem, but it would be nice to see more diversity in terms of what is considered beautiful, not just for myself but for all women.

I must admit I get more looks from black and Hispanic men than white men. But who cares?? As long as someone of the male sex is checking me out, I'm good.
