I remember the last harvest moon. That's about it.

I love the mystery of the sky. I've always fantasized about dating a guy who could star gaze with me and point out real constellations - not just shapes he sees.

Evidently there was one in May 2008. I remember because everyone at work was talking about it.

I remember walking the beach in South Beach in Miami one night and the moon was just HUGE and stretched the entire length of the beach and seemed so close you could reach out and touch it. I never saw a moon like that in my life it was absolutely amazing!!!!

I don't know about that... Once I was at astronomers' party and it was boring as hell!

No, those evidently are pretty rare and happen every 19 years (according to my article at least; haven't searched more) - the last 2 were in 1990 and 1971.
