That's such a general question that it's almost impossible to answer.
Still, if I was going to name one thing that attracts people to one another, I would have to say that would have to be confidence.
There's nothing you can say or do to make another person attracted to you - either they are, or they aren't. But, there are things that you can do to help yourself become more attracted.
Such as increasing your confidence.. having something to say.. working on your sense of humor.. keeping your appearances up.. ... ...
Dude, there's so many things that it's just simply impossible to list them all. As a good first step, if you want to increase your attractiveness, is to work on your confidence.
Well the basics are : confident person, smile on their face, feeling good being their own selves, rather smart and funny, non-judgemental.
After that it comes down to personal preference. Some people may as well like more quiet and serious types, others may prefer goofy playful people.
What i do believe is that attraction has more to do with personality than looks (in the case of both women and men). Oh yeah, and most people are invariably attracted to happy people. When you put up an 'aura' of happiness (at least as a woman), everyone seems to want to get near you.
I've lost count of how many very attractive women with either great faces, smoking figures, or both, who were cold, unfriendly, and simply unpleasant. Many were smart, but they were also shallow and very unempathetic.
Something I have developed as I got older is a knack for sensing which women emit the "I'm pretty, but I'm also a nice person" vibe - and which just have "I'm a B/TCH and I like it" on their faces.
Dress: no woman deserves to be hated for having excellent genes, but if you're going to show off, be sexy and classy, not a tramp.
A smile, a sense of humor, friendliness, being down to Earth, being humble: women, you do not know just how strongly this can humble men and set us at ease.

This is one of the most general questions you've ever asked and is really impossible to answer.
Just be yourself, take good care of yourself physically - in health, appearance, body, fashion. Take good care of yourself mentally - read, find a hobby, do something to bring some zen into your life. Most of all, just smile. You do these things, someone is bound to find you attractive.
