I take a variety of factors into consideration so all I can say is that I wouldn't discount someone of the specific height you mentioned, nor of someone shorter than me. Height is not a determining factor for me.

I am a 6'1" female. I am now 51 years old, and when I was growing up, a man wouldn't be caught dead with a girl taller than he was.
I married a 6'4" jerk. Long divorced now.
However, I've noticed in the past few years that this doesn't seem to be such a hang-up for the next generation. I've seen quite a few taller girl/shorter guy couples lately amongst the younger adults, and I applaud them for it.
I think it depends on the person. I am 5 ft 6 inches. I have a personally preference for taller guys-ok even freakishly tall guys. I've never dated someone under 6 ft 3, but that's just my personal preference. Just like I won't date redheads b/c my brother is a redhead and for some weird reason they remind me of my brother....anyway, its personal preference.
No, they don't. I am 5'7 (if I'm lucky), but in good shape and very young-looking for my age. I only get fat chicks it seems. Even the cute short girls (5'2) want dudes who are 6'0 and above.
Height is probably in the top 3 traits that a woman desires. Those who deny that are delusional or outright lying. I'd kill to be 5'9...or better yet 6'2. I would get more ass than a toilet seat.

5'7' here and well for me up to 6 ft is my limit. For some reason I wouldn't date a 6'3' plus man. I don't know why, I just wouldn't. Now if you're bigger (not passing the 6 ft) or slightly shorter I don't mind at all.
I would only mind about your short height if you displayed this in your personality and complained too much about it, then it would be an issue. Otherwise, it would not.

Totally false... I've had two LTRs with guys who were both 5'3".
When you assume all women care about height as a top 3 trait, you are shooting yourself in the foot. When you walk around assuming non "fat chicks" would never want you, you are putting off the vibe that you aren't worthy. I'll bet that is your biggest problem.
