That's not quite as true as you'd like to believe. In fact, one of the things that has bothered me about BM/WW is that alot of WW see BM as being "thugs", and find that exciting and alluring. It's sad becuase BM who aren't thugs get passed up becuase a W/L/AW will think "Well, if he isn't "urban", then I midas well stick to my own."

Yeah and my problem is that I don't have love for thugs so therefore people think I'm stuck up, when really, I just want a nice clean cut black guy that has goals. It's a rare find. Well let me put it this way, it's easier to find a thug. I know good black guys are out there but you all are true gems that are just hard to find.

Not picky at all. I actually don't care about a lot of things that other women do. For example, height isn't an issue with me. A lot of women I know hate short men. And if you don't, you can at least admit that too many do.

You can at the very least see why Black women are frustrated. The high number of Black men in prison compared to other races is ridiculous.
The high number of black men on the down low compared to other races is just downright scary. AIDS is the leading cause of death for Black women ages 18-25 and they are contracting it from black men on the down low. A lot of black men don't have any goals and don't seek decent jobs. I used the word 'seek' because I know the economy is rough right now. Black men abandon their kids more than other races. Black men date outside of their race more. The list and discussion goes on but I feel like I'm badgering black men when what I'm stating is true. These are reasons why black women lose in the marriage game and white girls got it made.

Of course it's easier to find a thug, and that's the kind most black women go for. They aren't checking for the respectful dudes, they want the gangster gold-teeth wearing, gun-toting type of black men. Good black men like me don't feel the need to advertise ourselves, we're on the DL (NOT IN THE HOMOSEXUAL WAY). If black men do get overly defensive it's for a good reason; we get tired of being lumped with the losers and when sisters complain about the lack of good black men, it's like we have to pay for the mistakes of the sorry-a$$ dudes who aren't about nothing.
