I had a crush on Peter Jennings there for a while. After college I got a job with the Associated Press to work at the National Presidential Conventions. I didn't see him once during the Democratic convention and a friend of mine was laughing about it. But during the Republican convention two weeks later we were in this hole in the wall diner in the French Quarter for breakfast and I saw this mouse run along the baseboard and followed it with my eyes only to look up and realize I was sitting almost on top of my man Peter.
