Does anyone on the board ever run into a pattern, where people (of the opposite sex) always tell you that you are "intimidating?"
Is this a good thing or a bad thing?
How does a person use this characteristic to their advantage in social situations, without causing others to 'clam up' ?
I don't think I'm intimidating, at least I have never been called "intimidating" before. I was told that there is a certain warmth and comfort about me, that makes people feel good and comfortable to be in my presence. To be honest, I don't think it's a compliment being called "intimidating".
I've been told I am because of my sarcasm. Sometimes people are afraid to open up and be themselves around me because they think I'll make fun of them.
Although I am wayyyyyyyyyyyy better than I used to be.
Bah...sounds like good ings for brewskis and bs-ing to me.
