I have had 3 different coworkers tell me and this woman that we would make a nice couple. It made me very uncomfortable and I had to pull someone to the side to explain that it's not appropiate for the workplace. Has anyone else ever been in a uncomfortable situation like this at a job?
That is such a NOTHING event. Why would you even get upset over something like that? Especially since you seem to be having great difficulty in finding a woman.
You wan to hear about uncomfortable situations in the work place? How about having a chick throw a stapler at your face while sitting in a conference room during a departmental meeting, because another guy opened his big mouth mentioning something about the flight attendant giving me her number and visiting my room while we were on vacation. I was having a non-committed "relationship" with staple throwing woman so she really shouldnt have been upset about flight attendant chick. Made for an interesting day at the office thats for sure.
I have more "uncomfortable situations" at the job stories. Yours is nothing and not even something HR would get involved with.
Grasshopper, 15 days and counting. Better get a move on and take what you can get. Coworker, two spoons and one ice cream, whatever.
LaoTzuMindFu - now don't go mentioning staples as Grasshopper has a story about a shared office stapler which brings up painful memories for the poor boy.
LMAO!!! This thread is hysterical!!! Crapplebees?!? Oh...I have tears from laughing so hard!!!
