Omega Male
The polar opposite of the Alpha Male. Omega Males can have friends and close acquaintances but prefer to accomplish things on their own without the help of a group. Omega Males generally don't belong to any cliques and have no desire to be the leader or most outstanding of said clique. Omega Males have relations with people from all groups and carry a resourcefulness and cunning (sometimes strength) to get a job done with their own skill. This being said, an omega male can have great pride without it manifesting as "ego."
Here's another one: Omega (usually rendered ω-male) is an antonym used to refer to the lowest caste of the hierarchical society. An omega is subordinated to all others in the community. The omega is commonly the last allowed to eat.

I'm not interested in following others. But I'm not interested in having others follow me either. I just like to be left to my own devices. Lone wolf.

What's Beta then? Isn't he the opposite of Alpha?

There's the rub--I'm not willing to let someone "allow" or "disallow" something I want to do. I'm going to eat as if my life depends on it--because it does--and no one would stop me.

Sociologically/biologically speaking speaking Beta-Male is basically the side-kick, (not the door mat pop culture defintion). Sort of Like a SgtMaj or XO. ".......Beta or co-dominant males may interact to keep human interaction within social limits and acts as limiting factors to anti-social or disruptive behaviour with-in a group."
