I have found that one of the best ways to respond to even lame small talk is to get real with the person. Why not tell the next woman who responds with this statement how many others have said this to you and what you would prefer? Be nice but sincere, and look her dead in her eye. Works for me.

Lol, yeah, it was..except that my buddy wasn't as lucky as Ross.. I tried to help him with his lack of confidence but there are some situations where, after awhile you just shake your head and sigh...

I'm a woman, but in spite of that, even I can come up with a line to get some free sex out of that line they throw at you that bothers you so much.
Sample:
You-I'm a career counselor.
Her-Oh, I could use some career counseling.
You-Well i'll give you all the hints you like if you want later on in my apartment...
Her-You're so naughty. (smiles) I might just take you up on that offer big boy.
2 hours later, you invite her in to your apartment for drinks and some "career counseling".  |
