When I see a businessman in a nice quality suit, clean-cut and healthy-looking, I'm like, "Ooooooh." I also like Brett Favre in the Wrangler commercials, but I like someone that loves to dress up.
good self care is one of the indicators of good self esteem. of course if the rest is bad -you are sunk. low self esteem is like skunk juice to women. a confident failure has to fight the women off.
What do you think of guys who take good care of themselves? I am not talking about metrosexuals but my hair, my clothes and my appearance are very important to me, I like to dress nice and I think most women respond well to that. I have done my eyebrows a couple times and the results was pretty good and no I am not talking about girly or gay looking eyebrows.
Would you be more attracted to a guy who takes good care of himself or it does not matter? I guess, if I could define my style, I like the the stuff singer Jay Sean wears, it is lot like my personal style. What do you think?
LOL, every time I hear the word Birkenstock I think of the San Fransisco liberals.
Hippy, pot smoking, animal lovin, ant-war, pro choice, liberals.
That's exactly what the brand attracted/stood, for back in the day.
I wanted a pair (as a kid) for the same universal reason; they were popular and "hip" in the Bay Area. And because everyone I knew wore them (so much for the theory of individualism).
Later, I moved South. No one knew the shoe, or brand. Everyone was wearing penny loafers, or Nike tennis shoes.
Fast forward ten years, and the fad hits the South! LOL!!!! Now, all the Ultra Conservs are sporting a pair, or have at least have a pair in the closet .
When I see a Conserv pal wearing a pair, I have to fight the urge to say..."Get a haircut,...you dirty hippie!"
BTW, good grooming is just common sense!! Mainly, I'm good if the/your stink is in check. LOL!
P.S. The brand originated in Germany/Europe. Probably brought over in the late 60's by some college student returning from their "right of passage" ( trip abroad).
