Oh, but those college years...
Yeah, not so much anymore I guess. Before I met my ex, I traveled for a living, didn't much care about "relationships". I was never the one who wanted to talk about where the relationship was going or whether we had a future together.. I usually broke it off right before I figured the guy was going to tell me he was in love with me.
I think I got married cause it seemed like a good idea at the time. I didn't need the financial support and I didn't want kids. I don't necessarily value a lot of the same things that are important in contemporary society. Don't get me wrong, I was faithful to my husband, and I'm pretty sure he was faithful to me, but I've just never fit well with the wife label. I'm too stubborn and independent, I suspect.
