They happen on New Year's Eve every 19 years. Every 2-1/2 years, they happen in some month. So perhaps you've seen one and didn't realize it. I just recently found all this out, so I haven't taken notice of it before. I've probably seen them before too.

I got talked into going to a party at the house of a guy in a running group I belong to. There should be about 30 people there.

I'd rather stay home, watch the ball drop on TV, and post on CD, but I'm trying to make myself be more sociable.

Guess I'd better go ransack my closet and find something suitable to wear.
