If you get a tattoo on your lower back or butt you can't see it yourself. I would want to be able to look at my artwork. Hip is a good place, it is hidden but you can still see it without using a mirror. A friend of mine who is conservative got a tramp stamp before they were called that, now she's not happy.

I always thought these would be great to show the grand kids when they start thinking grandma is just an old woman who lead a boring life.

It ought to give grandma a lot more respect for being the party girl she was in her younger days.

Reminds me of what Johnny Depp did about his tattoo that said, "Winona Forever," when he broke up with W. Ryder. He had it altered to say, "Wino Forever."

"Although these are often bias generalized claims, there have been sociological studies done by the American Psychological Association, Federal Bureau of Prisons, and other demographic researchers showing strong correlative evidence associating tattoos with high risk behavior, illegal substance abuse and sexual promiscuity"

Major turn off for me, not to mention, it looks trashy and it says a lot about a person's character, HELL NO!

Aren't you glad I was considerate enough to get mine on my feet?

Now you can visibly see before talking to me that I am trashy with poor character and we can both save valuable time by avoiding each other.

No need to thank me!

What I like is a very professional women dressed up with a discrete little tattoo where they think no one will see.

It just reminds me that we all have a little streak of rebel or wild side in us. Except Repub.

I was at the market the other day, and moving from aisle to aisle caught now and again glimpses of one of those women that you can't ignore. She was tall, blonde, very pretty, and had a way about her that I would describe as regal. Imagine my gratitude when I found myself, (By chance ) standing right behind her in the check out line. I was drinking it all in, happy to be there, wondering what I had done to deserve such good fortune and planning to help her to her car with her large order if she would only grant me the favor when she bent over to get something out of the bottom rack of her cart and what did I see? One of those tattoos that go from one side of the hips to the other. Suddenly, everything I had imagined about her, about who she was, how she led her proud life was ruined as fast as a carton of eggs to the floor in aisle number one. Might be unfair, might be a bias on my part, but we all have them.

I'm not a big fan of tats especially on women. The small little butterfly or whatever someplace discrete is fine with me.

I was at the grocery store a couple of days ago and this young pretty girl had tattoo "sleeves" on one of her arms.

Was kinda gross to me.

I hate to say it, but people just label you instantly when you have that many tats, like you are whitetrash, I don't feel that way personally but I'm sure lots do.

I am amazed by how many porn stars have tramp stamps, I guess, it is just a random correlation
