I dont believe "sex addiction" is a real diagnosis. I do however believe that if you have enough $$ you can find a shrink who will say that it is. Me? No excuses. I'm just a horny old reprobate!

A thousand years ago the "sex addict" would have been the one with the most powerful will to reproduce - THEY would have been the heros and saviours of the tribe...They would have been the ones that would have had huge families and rule the tribe - Now with all this anti-family and anti-tribal propoganda ....they are trying to sucker us into believing that it is a sickness to have this great drive to breed.

No such thing as sex addiction - it is an addiction to the life force..to generating more people - In the natural world that is a GOOD thing - In the controlled artifical world we live in - wanting to live and generate more life is considered bad? There is no such thing as being addicted to re-production.

Lets see: An activity that feels really good, that your driven to, that ends in a big rush. Could easily be describing a drug or sex. Both could take over and ruin your life.

I see where your coming from, but if your a caveman preoccupied with banging every momment of the day, a Sabre Tooth tiger may pounce you why your giving the goods to your cave woman. Too much of anything can be detrimental to your health.

While I do not believe in "sex addiction" I do believe there is a significant difference between sex because it feels great and wanting to share passion with your lover-and wanting "reproduction."

It most certainly exists. Addictions come in many forms. Sex, drugs, alcohol, gambling, smoking. The list goes on.
