Should I stop my friend from even meeting this girl? (dates, woman)

I think she's probably tired of meeting jerks, and is laying her cards on the table straight from the get-go.

That's what I think too, I'm just trying to look out for him so he doesn't get burned.

I had a run-in with a girl like this many years ago and it was an awful experience. Knowing what I know now, if someone would have warned me or intervened, I would have greatly appreciated it.

I had a run-in with a girl like this many years ago and it was an awful experience. Knowing what I know now, if someone would have warned me or intervened, I would have greatly appreciated it.

My ex was the male version of this girl. I was naive. I got burned. But if I could do it again, I'd allow it to happen again because it was one very big lesson learned. It hurt, it sucked, but it was the best thing that ever happened to me---to realize that people who talk themselves up may actually have very little to offer.

all she's doing is putting up defences.

I admit it's not a prospective date which I'd be relishing, but I think I'd be curious.

I agree with bobman. She's being upfront for a reason.
