My bud told me he gets nothing but either dirty, cold or disgust looks each time he brings out his cell phone in front of females as opposed to guys with a better state-of-the-art device. His cell is one of those regular old fashioned non-fancy flip phones.
Could this be true? Have you experienced femmes looking down at you because of this?
I never paid attention. I miss my Motorola Razr phone. I have it but don't use it. Reminded me of the Star Tac of years ago. My blackberry now... Again I haven't paid attention.

It's funny you mention that cause one day I was trying to look cool and faked having a conversation with a girl, I hang up and this fine looking chick asked me if she could make a phone call. My phone was disconnected. It was embarrassing.

Did you ever think think they just might find it rude to make phone calls in front of other people? It's the fact that it is a phone, not what kind of phone it is.
Having a cell phone donesn't make you important. In the late 80's, maybe - but these days, everyone has a phone. You don't look cool - you look distracted.

Whoops. Yeah down the pants would have cured her of that request. If not you would have been getting lucky or more embarrassed
This thing is I torture my cell phones. Always on my belt, snagged with outside working is where most of the heartache comes from.

I got a Blackberry since May last year and I'm still trying to figure out the damned thing.
I go up to guys and casually ask them why they don't have an iPhone yet when I see them messing with a flip phone. I'm only kidding when I say it, it's kind of an ice breaker. How are cellphones any different from cars when it comes to a "status symbol"? You've got a blackberry, droid, nexus or iphone and you must be popular/busy/mean business, right?
(yes, that was sarcasm... just thought i'd clarify it for everyone... lol)
