I think deep down, women want men with some degree of cockiness. Better that than snag a guy with ****-poor self esteem.

^Women may say they want a guy that can cry--but they really don't.

^True that. It goes back to a previous thread that generated serious heat; women say they want a guy that's in touch with his emotional side but they know full well they don't. Women really don't know what they want. The easiest thing is to take what a woman says she wants and flip it to the opposite.

Your going to be deemed sexist pretty soon, you know that?

I don't agree with him, but his statements don't appear sexist.

In most cases, what I'm saying is correct. If that makes me sexist, so be it. It's not like I'm saying all women should say how high when their man says jump.

Well I will say a real woman knows what she wants.

True. A real woman will also work to become what she's looking for.

"Women really don't know what they want."

I don't agree with this. They know very what they want but their intellectual side tells them they can't have it. However, their emotional side generally overrules the intellectual side.

Therefore, what they want is a man their emotional side tells them they should have but they want a guy who's in touch with his emotional side so he won't treat them like crap. This is the essential element of this thread that had lasted for nearly 800 comments. Women let their emotional side rule until they have little option left. Then they wonder where all the men have gone that their intellectual side told them all along they should be looking for. Its a sad paradox.
