Do You Save/Burn Ex's Photos? (wife, girlfriend, guy, cheater)

I only attempted to burn one once and my aunt was with me on a dock out on the water and the thing blazes up and then burns just up to and around his face and goes out leaving just his face. We thought it was the creepiest and most haunting thing we'd ever seen so I never did it again.

It all depends, I get along fine with all of my ex's except for one out of 3 that tried to kill me, so i keep a photo of her so my friends can keep a lookout in case she pops up in the vicinity. I think of it as insurance, sort of.

I don't burn them, but, as time passes, I will gradually get rid of the photos.

It's part of the grieving process i reckon, part of letting go.

So far as gifts, if they're useful gifts, then, no, I won't get rid of them, if I can use it, why should I ?

If they're slushy, sentimental gifts, or things which have a particular meaning only to the dead relationship, then, the same as the photos, in the bin they go.

Old bfs I still have a few photos, my first dh (the kids dad) I kept because of the kids. My second ex, I quite enjoyed burning photos of him while sitting around the fire pit sipping margaritas.

About ten years ago, I lost everything I owned. All the pictures up to that time are gone forever.

I haven't gotten rid of any photos. They're old memories of times gone by. I think women are more photo oriented than guys anyway.

Heck yeah I've kept them, blown them up to poster size....made a GREAT dart board! When I'm through with it THEN I burn it, smoke a peace pipe and move forward with my life!

I never was one to keep pictures. I have pics of my friends and family but that's all.
