Upscale restaurants should be saved for special occasions, not a first date. I say, go ahead with the Chipotle idea. It sounds just fine to me.

I think Chipotle would be a great place for a first date. That way if i don't like him he has only spent like $14. So I won't feel as bad as if he had spent $200 at a nicer restaurant.

Yum! I like Chipotle and think it would make a great casual date, especially if accompanied with a fun activity like something active or takeout and a movie. I must be a big eater b/c Chipotle doesn't make me that full!

You wouldn't feel bad at all if you also helped with the expenses or took care of the drinks and/or dessert after it  . Less guilt if you were to feel bad because he spent money on you.
