I really have a problem with men who call women gold diggers.
Men want to have sex with young, beautiful women and use their money and power to get the most attractive women that they can. Then these same men turn around and call the women that they used their money to attract "gold diggers".
For example, living in LA I see a lot of men of average looks with money/power driving $100k plus cars (Ferrari, Maserati, Bentley, etc) These men are 50 and 60+ yrs old and they obviously aren't trying to attract women their own age. These men are actively seeking women in their 20s who are slim and beautiful; yet the women are vilified as "gold diggers". So if a woman is young and beautiful and has her pick of men, why should she have to limit her options?
Men who vilify these women with options as gold diggers are bitter that they don't have what it takes to get attractive women.

The men that can afford to have women in their lives that are sexy, beautiful and slim know exactly what they are getting.
If these men wanted a frumpy dumpy woman they date women who work at Walmart or the Piggly Wiggly. But these men don't want those types of women - they want a "showgirl" and it takes money to maintain the lifestyle of a "showgirl"
Many men get bent out of shape when they can't afford the "showgirls" that they desire. Then they call the women "gold diggers" because they can't afford one just like they can't afford a Maserati or Ferrari.

First of all men pay prostitutes for sexual favors not to leave.
Second, saying prostitutes are paid to leave dosent answer the question what is the difference in MEN...
More along the lines of men that pay prostitutes are desperate, men that use gold diggers are losers.
